REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON PAVILION

For the Cameroon Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, Simmetrico developed the content narrative and visual language while enhancing the visitor experience around the idea of “Africa in Miniature.” Within the Opportunity District, Cameroon’s exceptional diversity was organised into a clear journey through more than 200 ethnic communities, 230 languages and landscapes ranging from coastlines and mountains to savannas and tropical forests. Its remarkable biodiversity,including hundreds of bird and mammal species and the iconic Goliath frog,established the country’s natural identity before the narrative shifted toward its Vision 2035. Agriculture, agritech, entrepreneurship and food security were presented alongside initiatives transforming plastic waste into useful products and expanding renewable energy. Through cultural research, strategic storytelling and visitor-experience enhancements, Simmetrico connected Cameroon’s human and ecological richness with its ambitions for inclusive growth, climate resilience and economic transformation,presenting a united country whose diversity is both its defining character and a powerful foundation for the future.
