Timeless Bounty

Simmetrico designed and produced a multi-sensory, narrative-led exhibition celebrating Ethiopia’s agricultural legacy and future vision within the Ethiopia Science Museum, Addis Ababa  . Titled “Timeless Bounty”, the exhibition unfolds across four immersive thematic areas, combining storytelling, innovation, and interactivity to engage visitors in the past, present, and future of Ethiopian farming.

Project Scope & Highlights:

• SEEDS OF WISDOM – The Genesis of Innovation
  Celebrates ancestral farming techniques such as ox ploughing and Konso terracing. Highlights Ethiopia’s enduring knowledge and cultural heritage through physical installations and touch-screen interactives.

• SEEDS OF NOW – Harvesting the Present
  Focuses on Ethiopia’s current agricultural transformation. Interactive exhibits cover urban farming, soil fertility mapping (EthioSIS), the Green Legacy and Wheat Initiatives, and the Yelemat Tirufat food security program.

• SEEDS OF INNOVATION – The Future of Farming
  Showcases cutting-edge technologies including vertical farming, hydroponics, drones, robotics, and precision agriculture. AR experiences and 3D interactives present Ethiopia’s forward-thinking strategies for sustainable development.

• SEEDS OF ACTION – The Call to Cultivate
  A participatory section that encourages visitors to commit to sustainability. Includes environmental quizzes, pledges, and highlights community-driven programs like the Agribooster initiative and Green Legacy campaign.
