BELIZE PAVILILON

Simmetrico shaped the Belize Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai as a sequence of thematic oases, revealing a country where ancient heritage, extraordinary biodiversity and emerging opportunity coexist. Within the Opportunity District, the journey connected Belize’s multicultural identity and Maya legacy, including Lamanai and more than 600 archaeological sites, with the Great Blue Hole, the UNESCO-listed Belize Barrier Reef Reserve and the world-renowned Cockscomb Basin Wildlife Sanctuary and Jaguar Preserve. Beyond its natural beauty, the pavilion presented Belize as a strategic bridge between Central America and the Caribbean, supported by an open economy and growing opportunities in investment, agribusiness, aquaculture and digital enterprise. Its pioneering protection of coral reefs, commitment to renewable energy and conservation of marine and terrestrial ecosystems placed sustainability at the centre of the experience. Bringing these dimensions together, Simmetrico portrayed Belize as a tropical sanctuary rich in culture and wildlife, yet equally a resilient, entrepreneurial nation ready to welcome responsible tourism, partnerships and future growth.
