In November, Simmetrico Inc was in Las Vegas to take part in Event Tech, a three-day event offering an intensive program of seminars and practical demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies related to the world of event management that help enhance the experience by engaging participants in sharing via social networks.

Event Tech confirmed and highlighted the strongest trends of the moment: sharing experiences, increased use of digital content and, therefore, increased use of mobile apps that allow participants to share their experience on social networks and stay informed about what happens during the event. Under the motto “Sharing is Caring”, participants at the beginning of each event were invited to turn on their phones to share the experience and their thoughts about what they were listening to with their followers.

The audience is no longer passive; instead, it is an interactive audience that tweets, posts and shares the message. Each event had its own hashtag, which allowed the organizers to track it on social networks so as to understand its effectiveness and gauge the degree of interest.

On 19th november 2015, the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku hosted the press conference summarizing Azerbaijan’s participation in the Expo 2015 at the presence of Mr.Anar Alakbarov, Director of the Heydar Aliyev Center, and Riccardo Cigolotti, project manager of the Azerbaijan Pavilion at Simmetrico Network.

The press conference started with the data of this huge success: a working group of 300 experts was involved in drafting the design of the Azerbaijan Pavilion for the period of 19 months of research and development of contents. In 6 months the Azerbaijan Pavilion welcomed over 2 million visitors.

The Director of the Heydar Aliyev Center highlighted as the Azerbaijan Pavilion at Expo Milan 2015 has been the second most important success of Azerbaijan after the European Games 2015. A participation which enabled the visitors to discover the natural beauty, the biodiversity and the cultural heritage of the Country.

The press conference ended with the confirmation of the new phase: the Pavilion reconstruction in Baku, near Promenade Boulevard, as confirmed by the Cabinet of Ministers and the Executive Authorities of Baku.

A six-month journey in which we shared ideas, known cultures and people from all over the world.

An adventure in which 300 people, with their work and their passion, welcomed more than 2.000.000 visitors at Expo Milano 2015 to experience the «Treasure of Biodiversity».
